Just a quick posting for our younger enthusiasts. Tomorrow at 9:30 we have the RSPB Wildlife Explorers visiting - on this occasion we'll be constructing some new homes for our grass snakes. Wildlife Explorers welcome all between 8 and 14, and Mums and Dads are welcome to assist - new members can join on the day.
Sightings today include 3 waxwings on the approach road, 3 lesser redpoll in the woods, barn owls over North Scrub - and an apparently excellent view of an otter eating presumably marsh frogs on the North Marsh at 2pm.
