Family events Easter 2018

We are launching some family events at the reserve during the Easter holidays to welcome children and their families to visit and explore the reserve. Events are FREE with standard entry. Please book by calling 01377 270690. All children must be accompanied by an adult and activities are aimed at  5-12 year olds.

Easter holidays

Tuesday 27^th March 10am -12noon – Shelter building for beginners. Always take your friends along to the woods but make sure that if they get lost then they are prepared! Build shelters for your friends, thinking carefully what an ideal shelter consists of. Will your friend be able to survive?

Tuesday 3^rd April 2-4pm – Eggs & Nests, what do you know? Birds and their eggs are protected by law but we can still find out fascinating facts about how birds build nests, their eggs and lots more. Team challenge, can you build like a bird?

Saturday 7^th April 10am -12noon – Nature detectives. Tophill Low is a great nature reserve and is home to hundreds of animals, big and small. But they are not always seen. Join us to track them down and pick up some key tracking skills along the way.
