Family events in May half term holidays
Spring has finally sprung and there is so much evidence of that on the reserve at the moment. From singing summer migrants to emerging summer wild flowers, there is so much to see. Bring your family to one of the family events and then spend the rest of the day exploring.
Saturday 26th May 10am - 12noon - Wild art and craft
Nature can provide so much inspiration so we will be out on the nature trail looking firstly at patterns and colours and how wildlife makes it's own nature gallery before we start work on our own. We will collect natural materials and we will be making our own masterpiece and creating Tophill Low's first natural art gallery for all to enjoy. Bring appropriate clothing for the ever changing British weather and of course a picnic for afterwards. The event is FREE with standard entry. Please call 01377 270690 to book.
Tuesday 29th May 2 - 4pm - Springwatch at Tophill Low
There are plenty of wildlife stories to tell at Tophill Low so with a bit of research and fact finding we can produce our own version of Springwatch and film it too! We will start by looking around the reserve to make sure we know all about our chosen animal, finding evidence about its life on the reserve. Once we know our "story" then we will put together a script and start filming! Budding presenters here is your chance to star. The event is FREE with standard entry. Please call 01377 270690 to book.
